Year 9 Retreat
As part of the Religious Education programme the students attend a one day retreat at Ceramco Park on Withers Road in Glen Eden. The Retreat is organised and led by the Religious Education Department from St.Dominic’s. Each day has 2 leaders from the Department. The students will have the opportunity to take part in sessions reflecting on the theme of Cooperation. Classes will attend as follows: MONDAY August 24 9QA Mrs Milich TUESDAY August 25 9AZ Mrs McKeown WEDNESDAY August 26 9BT Mr Clark THURSDAY August 27 9GX Mr Clark TUESDAY Sept 1 9MJ Mrs McKeown The bus will leave school at 9:00am and return at 3:00pm. Uniform and books are not required but each girl needs her pencil case. The students must take morning tea and a packed lunch as there will be no opportunity to buy foodduring the day. There will be an opportunity for a hot drink at morning tea and lunchtime. Cups are provided but we do not have access to any other dishes or utensils. The cost of the Retreat is $25:00, which is subsidized by the College, and covers transport, hire of venue and incidentals. For the Year 9 Retreat in 2009 the cost has been included in the Accounts issued in Term One.
