Year 11 Retreat
As part of their Religious Education programme the Year 11 students attend a one day retreat at CeramcoParkon Withers Road in Glen Eden. The Retreat is organised by the DRS and this year will be led by The LOGOS group to which our Chaplain and Campus Minister belong. The students will also be accompanied by their Religious Education teachers.
The students will have the opportunity to take part in sessions reflecting on themes relevant to their stage of faith development. They will not need uniforms but will need sensible, warm clothing and a pen.
The classes will attend as follows:
MONDAY 23Ms Joseph’s Class, Mrs Rodrigues’ Option E and
half Ms Clare’s class (Student’s with surnames A to M only)
TUESDAY 24Ms Cini’s Class, Mrs Rodrigues’ Option F and
half Ms Clare’s class (Student’s with surnames N to Z only)
The bus will leave school at 9:00am and return at 3:00pm. The students need to take morning tea and a packed lunch. There will be an opportunity for a hot drink at morning tea and lunchtime but no opportunity to buy food.
The cost of the Retreat is $30:00, which is subsidized by the College. For the Year 11 Retreat in 2007 the cost will be included in the Accounts issued in Term One.
The RE Department thanks you for your support in allowing your daughter to attend this vital day in her faith development.
