Filipino Basketball Tournament

In October, Lilianne Yabut and her team (UFCSA West) participated in the Pistang Pilipino (Filipino Festival) basketball tournament in Palmerston North. The team played against other Filipino teams all over New Zealand like, Wellington, Christchurch, Waikato, Palmerston North and other teams in Auckland. I am very proud to say that they beat all these teams and they are now the 2022 champion for the u13 division.

Badminton Tournament

Congratulations to Ashwina Shrestha, 8PC who participated at the Bay of Plenty Badminton tournament on 22~23 of October. Ashwina won the  Ladies doubles and got through up to the semi-final of the under 15 years girls' category.

Make a Splash this Summer!

Held in conjunction with the Interislander Bean Rock Swim is shaping up to be an amazing day of ocean swimming, running along the waterfront, music, food, activities and hopefully that spectacular Auckland sunshine!

This is your chance to swim from the lively beachfront of Mission Bay out and around the largest navigational marker in the Waitemata Harbour – the Bean Rock Lighthouse. Did you know Bean Rock is the only remaining wooden cottage-style lighthouse in New Zealand and only one of a very few in the world? It’s a must swim event!  Click on the image to see full details.
