YCC Day (Youth Creating Change Day), is a nationwide Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand initiative where Catholic schools across Aotearoa stand together in solidarity to support another Catholic school within our Pacific family.
This year, we are supporting Takuilau College in Tonga by helping improve their music room through the provision of instruments, chairs, printers, and other resources. These contributions will help create a dedicated space where students can learn, practise, and grow their talents.
YCC Day is a wonderful opportunity for our students to see Catholic Social Teaching in action and recognise that even small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference.
To support this cause, we held a PJ Day on Friday. Students were invited to wear their pyjamas for a gold coin donation, with all funds raised going to Caritas in support of this project.
